Raikwa Arts and Beyond Coffee are exhibiting the works of Konduru Nageshwar Rao ( artist born 1955) Titled " Women ,Villages and Beyond" from 3rd September 2010 to 30th Sept 2010.
The inauguration will be by Acting US Consulate General Ms .Juliet Wurr on 3rd Sept 2010 at 5 30 pm and also few film personalties are expected to honor the occasion.

While it can be debated whether art is always a representation of society and the artist's experiences, in the case of Konduru Nageshwar Rao, it sure is. His exhibition, Women Villages and Beyond at Beyond Coffee Gallery : Woman's View by the up-and-coming artist, the first of its kind in the City, will be on display at Beyond Coffee Gallery.
The works were drawn from his real-life experiences, of things he noticed during his childhood in a village in Andhra Pradesh. Aiming at sensitising the urban population to the actual hidden culture of the country, through his artwork. The theme of this exhibition, he fondly points out, is the daily predicaments women deal with in rural India. This, being his first solo exhibition in the City, expected to be received very well by art admirers from across the City.
His early developmental years at Pedaravuru in Andhra Pradesh have left a lasting impression on him and his figurative works are expressive of this. A glimpse of the serenely scenic village atmosphere is evident in his paintings that are simple and pretty expressive. The use of 18 acrylics on canvas with an interesting mix of black and white with colour has attracted many art lovers who are buying the unique paintings.
Art lovers of Hyderabad are welcome to have a visual treat of what we see in the country side daily lives ..
